Biography:

Hello! Originally from the rolling farmlands of Pennsylvania, I moved to the mountains of Missoula in 2012 and began teaching at Spirit at Play not long after. I have always loved teaching and learning from children, and have had myriad of wonderful opportunities to do so, from being a Nanny in England to working in orphanages in Uganda, to traveling and directing theatre productions with the Missoula Children’s Theatre, both domestically and abroad for many years. I spent spent three years learning and growing as Assistant Director and then Head of Facilities at Clark Fork School as well as teaching in their nature-based after school program and I am excited to be back at Spirit at Play guiding this amazing school forward.

I am happiest when I am out in the mountains, hiking among wildflowers and searching for that elusive alpine lake around every curve in the trail.

I love nature and find fulfillment in working in a school that strives to foster a sense of wonder and love of the natural world in our students. Here’s to muddy feet, grinning faces and happy hearts!
